post gac life #1 Posted on October 24th, 2005 by

Although I have been out of school for a couple years, there isn’t a week that goes by where I don’t catch myself thinking back to the fun times had at GAC. While so many students anxiously anticipate the upcoming days of graduation, they fail to realize just how fond of memories they create of a daily basis and how the ‘real world’ isn’t all that it sometimes gets hyped to be. I absolutely wish I was in college still. Yes finals were no fun and stressful, and yes Minneapolis has more to offer than St. Peter, but once you are on the outside looking in, you can truly understand and appreciate college life. You see smiling familiar faces on a daily and continual basis. There is always something you just have to do, or someone that just has to see you. I miss those days. Yes, I have my fun now that I am out of college too, but trust me when I urge you to appreciate everyday of Gustavus. Everyday when someone smiles at you, genuinely cares about you and wants to include you. Embrace that, because things change when you get to where I am.
